A truly versatile welsh pony, Spellbound is a champion on the Welsh circuit in Halter, Hunter Pony, and Trail, as well as 2001 USDF Breed Show Champion. In his American Sport Pony testing, he scored a phenomenal 8.5 on his jumping.

Spellbound has competed in English, Western, and Trail and even during his first year under saddle, he won top ribbons at every show. That first year, he was Division Champion or Reserve at most every show in which he competed. Many times he was part of the winning Get of Sire group for Farmore Publicity, his sire, who earned the Pacific Coast Championship for Get of Sire Group in 1999. Spellbound also helped his sire to receive the coveted Sire Legion of Merit award, the only west coast stallion to date to receive such an award. Farmore Spellbound ended his first year under saddle with national and regional awards in Trail as well Spellbound brings to the breeding shed a pedigree rich in generations of performance and halter champions. He is by WPCSA Legion of Merit Sire Farmore and out of a Talybont Quicksilver daughter, K.D.'s Silver Lining, herself a National Champion in hand and under saddle. 3 years in a row Spellbound has had a foal in the ASPR National Futurity - Finnigan Fanfare Snowhawk.

Spellbound is my "dream" pony, chosen to make them come true. I am consistently impressed with Spellbound's foals out of a variety of pony and horse mares, which are pursuing careers in hunter ponies, jumping and dressage. This Welsh stallion stamps his foals with his small, beautiful head, excellent movement, conformation and his incomparable gentle temperament, not to mention that look-at-me" attitude for the show ring. He is an excellent choice for smaller horse mares and to improve quality, movement, and performance in pony mares.
